This comprehensive range of fire protection equipment is designed, manufactured and tested to the highest standard and proven in use for maximum efficiency and reliability.

Most of the extinguishers featured are now approved under the new BAFE Scheme (British Approvals for fire equipment). This scheme incorporates the BSI Kitemark for BS5423 and the manufacturing "Quality Systems" of BS5750.

Where applicable, products are also approved bye the Department of Trade (DOT) and the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

 
The wide range of components manufactured by Kidde enables systems to be engineered to suit individual customer requirements. Systems can be either automatically or manually operated and arranged protect single or multi-zone hazards and with any number of reserve discharges. Automatic control can be achieved mechanically, pneumatically or electronically or by any combination of these to suit site conditions.

Facilities are available for providing a pre-alarm and delayed discharge as well as various methods of preventing automatic release while protected rooms are occupied by personnel.
 
 

 
"MAX MARINE 2" is an autonomous system that doesn't need external power source for its operation and doesn't need a pressurized container.

"MAX MARINE 2" is supplied complete with:

  • container with extinguishing and cooling agents, ignition device
  • support for container
  • manual release device (automatic release device on request)
  • releasable cable (5 m. length)

On request is possible to supply longer cable and corner pulleys according to installation lay - out.

"MAX MARINE 2" is a system, specially developed to protect the engine room of pleasure boats, having the following advantages:

  • small dimensions
  • low weight
  • easy installation (absence of pipe works)
  • no distribution pipes
  • no retest of cylinders
