Fujikura life rafts are manufactured to be used on ships on international waters and are in conformity with SOLAS 98 amendment.
Fujikura life rafts are inflated by liquefied carbon dioxide gas (a part N2 mixed gas) as other rafts. Characteristically, some of their unique features are boarding ladders equipped with the rafts as well as the canopy and the floor which are inflated automatically while keeping the temperature inside the raft warmer together with a large water pocket for safety purposes.

Fujikura life rafts are designated to be used for the temperature ranges between 65 and 0 centigrade and weigh less than 185 kilos. They have been proven to be durable enough to be used under the most extreme weather conditions for over 30 days while fully meeting all SOLAS requirements.
