METALCRAFT'S SEA-FIRE Division has designed, and developed an engineered automatic fire suppression system using FM-200®, an EPA approved, environmentally responsible fire suppression agent. SEA-FIRE Division has conducted extensive fire testing with several fire-extinguishing agents in conjunction with Marine testing Laboratories, Underwriters Laboratories, Factory Mutual Research, American Bureau of Shipping and other International agencies. The systems have been subjected to vigorous testing by Metalcraft Quality Personnel and Factory Mutual Research Corporation. The FM-200 suppression systems carry a United States Coast Guard approval, are CE component certified for the European Union Market. The systems are also approved by DNV (Det Norske Veritas), and Lloyds, RINA, ABS approvals are pending. The fire suppression systems and products offered by SEA-FIRE MARINE are highly flexible and custom configured to cater to all of our marine customers, from the smallest system to the largest we provide and implement a very stringent quality standard to all phases of design, manufacture and testing.
