By combining the latest in materials and design and manufacturing techniques with over 50 years of experience, Zodiac has created the world's most recently approved range of Oril's (Open Reversible Inflatable Liferaft) for use by passengers ships and fishing vessels on inland or coastal waters.

Oril's are designed for immediate use, no matter which side up they inflate. Equipped on request with bowsing lines and a fast activation device, Zodiac Oril's are complementary to all Marine Evacuation Systems (M.E.S.) Approvals trials were witnessed by the major Maritime Administrations where Oril's are applicable.

Advanced Features Of Zodiac Oril's :

Manufactured with the same durable polyurethane fabric found on Zodiac Solas approved liferafts, Oril's are assembled using the advanced Zodiac hot assembly technique, Thermobonding.

Being computer-controlled, Thermobonding eliminates the inconsistencies inherent in the old-fashioned gluing methods still used by other manufacturers.

The fabric's chemical nature and the Thermobonding process make Zodiac Oril's especially inert to ageing factors in the marine enviroment.

Due to the fabric weight and structure Zodiac Oirl's are easy to service and use light, short sized but remarkably strong, glass reinforced plastic (GRP) containers.

All Oril's can be dropped from up to 18 meters.

Equipped on both sides of the buoyancy tube with boarding ramps, retro-reflective tapes, automatically activated signalling lamps (with manual on/off switch to help converse the 12 hour drycell batteries during day light) and also high volume, weighted stabilishing water pockets, Oril's are safe rescue platforms, even in extreme sea conditions.

A large sea anchor and self-bailing floor also contribute to the safety of the occupants.
